Gmail is an email service of Google and can be accessed from any computer connected to the Internet with a supported browser. Gmail is available in many languages. You can access Gmail whether you are using a PC, Mac or Linux computer. Users of Gmail enjoy disk storage worth 2GB. There’s so much space for your messages and attachments. It is highly unlikely that you’ll be able to use it up.
Type gmail.com in your browser’s address bar and wait to be directed to Gmail. You should be able to see the sign up page of Gmail.
Enter the requested information like your name, username and password. Make sure to check the password strength indicator so you will know how strong your chosen password is. It is recommended to choose a password with a combination of letters and numbers to create an alphanumeric password. This is usually difficult for hackers to access your email account.
Check the box that says you have read Gmail’s terms and conditions.
Press Enter and your account will be immediately created. If there are no errors on the page, this means you have successfully created a Gmail account. If you see errors on the page, perform the necessary action needed to repeat the process.
The most difficult part in signing up for Gmail is usually finding a username that is not used by anyone. To check if your desired username is still available, click on the Check Availability button. If you don’t do this at the start of the process and just click on the button at the button of the form, you will have to fill up the form again if your username is not available.
